DAY 107
11.04.2017 Veliki Silijegovac - Zitkovac, Serbia. My first day after I returned to the group. It was like a family reunion, yet a strange feeling. Was it the same march I left behind some time ago? The atmosphere was bit diffrent - Tom, kids were there, it was like a sunday walk rather than regular CMFA marching. In the morning we met with pupils from the school. We were also joined by Serbian. The route was beautiful and we stopped by a amazing church. After reaching Zitkovac we had some rest and took a part in a workshop, prepared by Anna. Altogeter 17 marchers, 22 km. Read MoreThe initial aim was to decide whetever the march should be more or less involved in the refugees cause but later on the information was spread that CMFA decided notto perform any activities conerned with the refugees, which upset many marchers. Inside communication process, even, within such small group, turned out to be one of the most demanding issuess on the march.
The diffrent opinions divided the group - some poeple were strongly against visiting the camps, calling it "tragedy tourism"; claiming that it brings more harm than good. Other were supporting the idea to meet as many refugees as possible on the way and CMFA presence inside or near the camp.
