DAY 176
19.06.2017 Lesbos, Greece. Civil March for Aleppo moved again to Greece after leaving Bulgaria. While waiting for the permission to march in Turkey the project was to visit Greek islands. On the 19. June CMFA marched from the Moria refugee camp to the touristic resort of Mitilini. Refugees and volunteers from many NGOs joined us during this day. It was great to see so much people marching and sharing solidarity for peace. Before the march CMFA visited Mosaik Support Center in Mitlini, a cross-culture space, whre we had an option to meet founders of the Safe Passage Bags project and do some shopping there. Safe Passage Bags is a project where people design and manufacture various bags made from recycled refugee safe vests. Thats the best present I did brought from the march for my family. The bags can be ordered via https://www.facebook.com/SafePassageBags
